A UNIX based Software Management System:

is a rather complete tutorial of the Code Management Tools (SoftRelTools) being used at D0 for Run II developed by the CD/D0/CDF Run II Code Management Group.

CVS

the Code Versioning System run in a client/server mode with modifications due to the SDSS (Sloan Digital Sky Survey) group at FNAL;

SoftRelTools

the suite of release tools written by Bob Jacobsen et.al. for the BaBar experiment at SLAC. See also the User's Guide. This system is the basis of our version of SoftRelTools.

gnu tools

public domain tools, gmake etc. See Info Pages for a nice set of reference documents on the gnu tools as well as many other free and shareware programs.
