Common Monte Carlo Samples

Here is the centralized production of "general use" Monte Carlo samples documented.

Monte Carlo Samples

These samples are managed by the Simulation Group.

Common MC definitions

Certified p17-MC common samples - caffed with p18.13.01 (version v1 ok but not for ttbar)
Certified p17-MC common samples (p17.09.08 only) - caffed wih p18.14.00 (version v12)
Certified p20-MC common samples - caffed with p21.11.00 for Run2b1 (version v12)
Certified p20-MC common samples - caffed with p21.11.00 for Run2b1 (version v13)
Certified p20-MC common samples - caffed with p21.18.00 for Run2b2 (version v6)
Certified p20-MC common samples - caffed with p21.21.00 for Run2b3 (version v4)
Certified p20-MC common samples - caffed with p21.21.00 for Run2b3 (version v5)

Available, recommended, MCs to be used in physics analysis can be found at the pages:

Additionnal script tool

Based on those web pages, the tool presented in the following link can list request ids matching some user criteria (no need to access sam or any fnal software, require regular python). Make your own request Id lists

Centralized MC luminosity profiles

It is recommended to use the centrally produced MC lumi profiles to reweight MC to Data luminosity using the LumiReWeighting processor. You first need to checkout the latest version of the lumi_profiles package (use cvs history -Tan lumi_profiles to find out the latest version). Please have a look at CSG D0 wiki for the current setup.

Centralized MC samples counting and Alpgen cross-sections

see CSG D0 wiki for latest developements.
