Extended AA Processed Data
Data from all run 2 data epochs (run 2a and run 2b1-2b4) are intended to
be reprocessed using the fixer release p20.16.09 or p20.18.xx.
This fixer release is an improvement over the previous
fixer release (p20.13.02).
The main improvement is a bug fix involving propagation
to the dca. It also includes improvements that were made in d0reco
in p20.18.xx, such as improved primary vertex reconstruction.
Note that release p20.16.09 is algorithmicallly identical to the
p20.18.xx series of releases, which are being used to reconstruct
run 2b4, rather than to p20.16.08 and earlier releases that were used to
reconstruct run 2b3.
As with p20.13.02 fixer, the fixing algorithm consists of running
full reconstruction starting from track reconstruction onward (vertex
finding, particle id., etc.) on a selected sample of MUinclusive skim events.
Input data for extended AA processing is the MUinclusive physical
skim, the AA_JPSI logical skim (SKIM_AA_JPSI event flag), plus the
additional requirement of having a dimuon mass in the range 2.5 to 4.0
GeV. The net effect of these requirements corresponds to the
following dimuon mass requirement.
The difference between run 2a and run 2b is due to the fact that the
definition of the SKIM_AA_JPSI event flag changed between run 2a and
run 2b. The dimuon mass selection did not impose any muon quality
requirment (over and above d0reco) or any vertex requirement. This filtering
selects around 15% of the MUinclusive skim, or 2% of the all stream.
- 2.5 to 3.6 GeV for run 2a.
- 2.5 to 4.0 GeV for run 2b.
A single input dataset has been defined for each of the major
epochs (except run 2b4), as follows.
The run 2a and run 2b1 datasets are standard, previously defined,
datasets for the MUinclusive skim. The run 2b2 dataset is the union
of five previously defined MUinclusive datasets. The run 2b3 dataset
is the union of three previously defined MUinclusive datasets.
