Video Conferencing

VRVS: We are switching over to VRVS beginning the meeting on Thursday, June 5, 2002.  VRVS is our primary video conferencing tool until a Zydacron card is implemented to allow both VRVS and ISDN simultaneously. The Saturn global virtual room has been reserved from 8:30am till 11:00am for our meetings.  Please follow Sergio's Instructions to install and use VRVS.

ISDN Video Conferencing:   This method of video conferencing will not be used from the June 5, 2002, D0RACE meeting.   We will switch over to VRVS from the meeting.   Anyhow, given the limitation of the available videoconferencing ports at  the lab, there is not going to be a standing videoconferencing  request allowed for this meeting, until we either implement    another conferencing method, such as VRVS, or find out that    the number of participants does not exceed the available number    of ports . In other words, you will have to make the request every    week otherwise your slot will be taken away.

Audio ports:    There is going to be a limited number of audio ports available for    those of you who did not get a video conferencing port.

Video Streaming:    This facility has been shutdown indefinitely other than Fermilab's own facility that can only be done for the meetings in 1 West.  Therefore this meeting will not be videostreamed.
