Verification of the Simulation

Our verification effort is being led by Lei Wang (UMD), using code that was developed by Armand Zylberstejn (Saclay). For a description of the code used for the verification, click here.

sftdigi added new code to handle fibers outside of GEANT volume. DO NOT USE: crashes and problem in WAMUS scintillator.
switch compilers from kcc to gcc
p14.09.00 outermost radius of CFT moved a bit   note that we are still working on changing the geometry used by the track reconstruction to reflect the changes that went into d0gstar. We will not freeze this release until this is done. However, this has a neglible effect on the output.
p14.08.00 non-trivial change to D0gstar geometry. The geometry of the beam pipe was altered by Sahal Yacoob. Some copper cables were added to the SMT by Sudeshna Banerjee see D0 note 4498, 4799, and 4511 Some small scintillator counters were added to the bottom of the muon system and the chamber alignment was made more realistic, see d0note 4088.
  • Some code in spacegeom, geometry_system, and cft_geometry was updated to allow faster digitization of CFT hits.
  • Update the charge sharing and cross talk in SMT according to D0 note 4468
  • change geometry_db to rotate CFT so number scheme is same in MC and data. this is necessary for d0raw2sim overlay and subsequent analysis.

p14.06 no changes add special link option to pileup so reads pileup events in order from pileup file. have to recompile to get this option. exe did not compile because the strange way simpp handles libraries lost the eventflags library
