Run II Software Algorithms (Coordinators: Qizhong Li and Erich Varnes)

The Software Algorithms group is responsible for developing all "algorithms" used within the experiment. These include those used in the trigger (e.g. Level 2, Level 3) and those used offline (e.g. reco and the simulation). Some of the products produced by the Algorithms groups are the Level 3 filtering software, the offline reconstruction program, the simulation programs and the various forms of event samples to be used for physics analysis (e.g. thumbnails, DST's, etc.). These products are the backbone of the DØ physics analysis program. If you are interested in contributing to this effort, please contact one of the Algorithms group leaders or talk to your Physics group conveners.

• Level 3 (p19) is now in use in the V15 trigger list.
