Invitation to serve in the ICD-MG expert comittee

Dear all,

we managed to get in touch by phone with Andy saturday and were
then able to reforward him all the mails of the last 2-3 days,
such that he could read them before deciding for the comittee,
and its charge.
He has just accepted and since he would like to start tomorrow morning
we are going to send this invitation now, but officially announce the
composition of the comitte (with all who accepted) on tuesday morning at
CALGO. Please let us know if you accept to actively participate in this
comittee, which has a short term and a long term charge, see below.

Charge of the comittee:

Short term:

Review the harware motivations for having scaled up by a factor 3.8 
the ICD response, and by a factor of 2 some of the MG, and report it in a
short document to the CALGO steering group (CAT) and algorithms chair.
The Jet energy scale and resolution issues are studied  separately, inside
JES&CALGO.

Long term:

Propose a complete calibration strategy (on-line,off-line) for the ICD, 
including its phi intercalibration.
Be in charge of providing updates of the ICD/MG numbers if necessary.
