"Reverse" (=1) is to the north. I looked at the Run Data base and the March Nikhef data, and see: Date 3/1 3/15 RunDataBase Sol 0 1 RunDataBase Tor 0 1 DMACS Sol +4749 -4749 NIKHEF N1IC 1.952 -1.952 NIKHEF S3IC -2.014 +2.014 Can you think of a way to use the NIKHEF data to confirm the field direction? For the Toroids, "forward" (also = 0 in the run database) orients the field in the direction Y into X. Rich
