L3TBTagIP takes as input a tracking tool, a jet tool and a vertex tool and calculates the event, jet and track b-probabilities based on the signed impact parameters of tracks

L3TBTagIP runs out-of-the box under p16. If you are using trigger list L3p16_cert-1.00 you are running a version of the tool which calculates the event probability based on the pjets=3 leading jets. This parameter can be modified in level3.sim depending on what event topology you want to trigger on. Remember to use the correct beamspot for the Vertex tool when running on real data. |

Below is the current set of plots for the certification of p16 - I will update these as the certification progresses. |
I have so far been running on real data from run 188259, no trigger selection. Everything seems to be working from a technical point of view. The track probability looks a bit un-tuned (see plots below). It might have to do with the loose event selection (i.e. none) applied for these plots. I will have to run on larger samples of jet triggers to study the resolution function with the new p16 track selection. Work is underway. MC studies of Z->bb, Z->qq and QCD are also underway. I have no timing plots to show: The toolstats.root file is empty. |
