Review of p13.06 online performance and testing:
-
Online
rejections and first stage debugging: Terry Wyatt.
Electrons, Jets, Taus look fine. L3MEt instabilities due to poor
calorimenter quality (hot cells) rather than any change introduced by
p13 or the new trigger list. Tracking shows some differences between
p12 and p13 that need to be investigated. TRK10 filter has factor two
less rejection due to inadvertent (but hopefully permanent) change in
filter definition to require at least 8 rather than at least 10 axial
hits on the L3 global track.
-
p12/p13 comparisons from
vertex_examine: Michiel Sanders.
Discussion Items
-
Review of
our testing/certification/verification procedures: Jon Hays/Terry Wyatt.
-
Proposed schedule for L3 code releases in the
coming months: Jon Hays/Terry Wyatt.
-
We aim to have production release cut (from test release) mid-Feb to
beginning March.
-
Requires us to get a working test release VERY SOON!
There are currently still many gcc-related errors in the test build.
Angela Bellavance has been working on getting these fixed.
The hope is for the week after next to have this finished.
It will not make sense to cut p15 until L3 and possibly also L2 and
Trigsim can be shown to work at some reasonable level in the test
release.
-
Testing requires trigger database entries to be brought into
compatibility with test release SOON!
