Also there is a High Lumi workshop on March 6. As you all know, high lumi is A BIG DEAL at L3. To study the effects of increasing lumi, there is some MC and data available for your convenience (details below). ** Technical Details ** Phil has reco'ed several thousand events from different runs with the latests and greatest reco version. These runs should have all the new AFEII boards and all corrections for L0 in reco. They can be found here: /prj_root/2628/l3_write/pvint/reco_230112 /prj_root/2628/l3_write/pvint/reco_230114 /prj_root/2628/l3_write/pvint/reco_230118 Run 230112 - p20.07.01, lumi 270e30, v15.30 Run 230114 - p20.07.01, lumi 155e30, v15.30 Run 230118 - p20.07.01, lumi 100e30, v15.30 In level3.sim, please check that you have the correct adcthreshold for p19.L3.04 CFTUnp L3TCFTUnpack( tooltype="unpack", adcthreshold=10, <----- make sure this is set to 10 and not the pre-AFEII value of 20 ! We might still adjust this threshold, but 20 is definitely too high. If you feel ambitious you can try and set it to 5 or 2 as well and show your results in the meeting. Please check the L3 webpage for details on the new p20 MC. The MC group expects some feedback.
