These pages contain certification results for RunIIb Level 3 trackers.
Matching between the Level 3 and offline tracks is performed by a simple proximity matching in the (x,y) view. A match quality value is calculated as the sum of squared distances at 5 radii between an L3 track and an offline track. The best matched pair is the one whose quality value is smallest.
Track matches are required to be unique. In the case of multiple associations to the same offline track, the best match is retained and any other tracks are required to find their next best match. This process continues until no more matches can be made.
