Muon ID: Starts from the RawDataChunk. (For MC, the RawDataChunk is made in d0sim). Handle case when the A layer segment is missing, and the GTrack is matched to a BC segment. Handle case when both A and BC segments are missing, and the GTrack is matched to individual PDT or MDT hits. Tau ID CPS matching including all clusters instead of only one cluster. Added FPS cluster matching. Track propagation is implemented in taureco. Newly trained tau-hmatrices using track propagation. Jets / MET Major release of jet / MET algorithms The jet algorithms defined in the Run II Jet Physics group of the Run II QCD Workshop (D0note 3750) have been implemented. The missing ET is calculated using different tower thresholds and/or eta ranges. Eta rings are saved as well for easy revertexing. Known bugs / issues (updated 1/12/01)

This version of reco is currently only officially configured to process Monte Carlo files produced from psim01 or earlier MC production releases. It does not yet support the format of MC files produced from p05 or later releases. We expect to create a configuration to support p05 MC files in the near future (1/12/01).
The executable being used on the farms for production does not catch "floating point exceptions". If such an exception occurs, most likely the result of that calculation becomes "NaN" ("Not A Number"). Such "NaN"s may eventually end up in root ntuple files, causing problems with root analysis. Users should report such problems, and they will be cataloged here. We will be addressing the debugging of Linux-only FPE's in future releases. (12/14/00)
Problems have been reported with EM clusters based on the scone clustering algorithm. These problems appear to cause EM fraction values identical to 1 or less than zero and isolation values equal to zero. The problems are associated with negative energy clusters and were reported to occur in ttbar and QCD event samples. Users are advised to consider using the CellNN clustering algorithm if these problems are an issue with their analysis. (1/12/01)
Problems have been reported with EM clusters based on the CellNN clustering algorithm. This algorithm may produce a significantly large number of fake clusters. This problem was reported to occur in ttbar event samples. (1/12/01)
There is a bug in CellNN that occasionally creates clusters with zero energy. The problem is a bug when merging clusters in different floors. In some large occupancy events, the 3d-cluster c.o.g is found outside the calorimeter, resulting in zero energy clusters. When the isolation fraction of these clusters is calculated in getEMclusters, a divide by zero occurs. On Irix systems, this causes a floating point exception crash. A fix to prevent crash has been installed in t01.30.00. The fix is to discard these zero energy clusters. It will become available in the p08 production release of RECO.
This version of reco is not able to correctly handle events containing Raw Data Chunks (RDC), including those generated with Monte Carlo versions p07 and beyond. The ability to process RDC's will be available in p08. Attempting to process RDC's results in errors such as:
- ERROR: unpack_base::MCHCrate(cratecfg*) no registered module matches requested type ADC mode data
