Instructions for Downloading an ssh Client for NT
How to install ttssh:
A full description of ttssh is here.
To install it:

First, get the teraterm terminal emulator: Click here
. This gets downloaded to your C:\TEMP\ttermp23 directory. Go to that directory
and click on setup.exe and ttermpro will be set up.

Get the ttssh extension to ttermpro by downloading this.
if you have troubles with browser unzipping, just save to disk and click
on it to invoke your local unzipper.

Extract the contents of the zip file into the same directory as ttermpro,
normally C:\Program Files\ttermpro. Put a shortcut to ttssh in your
program list or wherever you want.

Configure ttssh.

Launch ttssh.

enter d0mino.fnal.gov as the machine and click on ssh

enter your name and password just to get in as a test

say you want d0mino.fnal.gov on your list of known hosts (will get an error
message first time - not a problem)

go to setup>TCP/IP and click on Close on exit.

go to setup>save setup and save this setup. From now on, the default will
be ssh and the windows will go away when you quit your session. 4)

Configuration of Exceed. You have to launch Exceed before you can pop a
window. If you forget you get the 'cannot open display on ...' message.
You can do so by putting it in the startup folder for your PC or by remembering
to launch it: Program Files>Exceed>Exceed. You pop a window by doing whatever
you used to do on the xstart command line in your ttssh window xterm &
or by making a script myterm which contains (for example) xterm -fn 7x13

-s -j -geometry +200+300 C.

How to install Putty:

Click here
to download it.

Click on putty.exe and save on your desktop.

Click on it .

Enter d0mino.fnal.gov as the Host Name

Select ssh
-
Give it Stored Sessions name of d0mino and click on Save

Click on Open
-
Follow the same instructions as above for starting your x sessions.
