This procedure helps with the installation, configuration and testing of the SAM-Grid software. The reader should refer to section 1 to 3.1 of the full manual for an overview and for the system preparation. The full manual also gives hints on the answers asked during the tailoring process.
Execute the following commands as user sam:
$ upd install -G-c samgrid
$ ups tailor samgrid
$ setup samgrid
$ samgrid install/update config
installs/updates jim configuration products
$ samgrid install/update globus
installs/updates the middleware (vdt and sam_gsi_config)
IF installing an execution and monitoring site:
$ samgrid install/update execution_site
ELSE
$ samgrid install/update submission_site
