DØ Object Management: DØOM
DØOM group: Herb Greenlee, John Hobbs, Scott Snyder, Vicky White
Overview
DØOM is a mechanism for saving and restoring C++ class data
to external files. It is designed so that multiple I/O formats
can be used. Currently, there are I/O implementations for the
DSPACK data management system from experiment NA49 at CERN, and
the MSQL freeware relational database.
DØOM knows about the class layout by reading the C++
headers which define the classes. (This is done using the cint
C++ interpreter code from M. Goto, of HP Japan.)
