Mar. 2006: Alpgen W+1c+Nlp (N>0): observe approximately
twice as many W+ as W-. Problem was in Alpgen v1.3.3, was
fixed in v1.3.3-1, but returned in v2.0.
Mar. 2006: Alpgen W+2c+Nlp: parton level cuts were
incorrectly applied to the charm quark. Samples prior to
request 31300 should not be used.
Mar. 2006: Alpgen W and Z samples: Alpgen and Pythia
were both allowed to add charm and bottom quarks to the
event when they were not specifically requested. If you
want to explicitly use W/Z with heavy flavor samples, events
with these extra heavy quarks should be filtered out.
Feb. 2006: Minbias overlay: zerobias files include
events with bad data quality. Fix: events which use these
need to be removed from the MC samples (if the data quality
is applied to the data).
Feb. 2006: Selected samples: samples generated at
Wuppertal prior to Mar. 2006 are messed up because the detector
geometry/calibration was not read into d0gstar. These samples
should NOT be used.
Jan. 2006: SUSY generation Pythia/Herwig: verticies
of SUSY particles incorrect. No official fix in CVS, but
contact simulation group for infomration about how to
apply a fix to your code.
???: p17.06.02 D0gstar: incorrect Lorentz angle
in SMT. Mostly affects b-physics. Fixed in p17.09.01.
Nov. 2005: Pythia J/psi: Jan Stark discovered a
problem with Pythia generation of J/psi events. This may affect
other 2->1 processes. Fixed in p17.09.01 with new version of
Pythia.
