This is strictly forbidden and not a good idea in any case. The problem in this instance is that we have two builds going at once. The 1st one builds the code, compiles it and all is well. Then the 2nd one builds the code, compiles it and all is well, for it. However, if the 1st one happens to be at a point in the build where it needs the result (the .a's) and the 2d one is in the process of rebuilding it, it can fail.
