Note 1: In general the verifier should be someone from your institution who is already a member of D0. It should not be one of the spokesmen unless there is some special reason that no one else can verify you. Be aware that if you do list one of the spokesmen as your verifier your request is likely to be delayed.

Note 2: You can list more than one, the first one listed that isn't used will be issued to you.

Fermilab policy dictates that this username be used for all accounts at Fermilab including the Mail Forwarder. <username>@FNAL.GOV will be created for you if you don't already have one. The username is limited to 8 characters due to limitations on some Fermilab machines.

Note 3: If this is your first account at Fermilab, you will need a Kerberos Principal (account) and probably a cryptocard (one-time password generator). See Heidi Schellman's Professor's Guide to Using Kerberos at D0 for an explanation of these.
These are needed to access any computer at Fermilab.
