Level 1 branches generally begin with "L1", and level 2 branches generally begin with "L2".
Some Level 3 branches (those generated dynamically) begin with the tool name, followed by an information type, followed by a production type, in the format <toolname>_<infotype>_<produced> where:
CalMEt_PvtxZ_* |
|
CttT |
The package is l2stt_analyze. This branch has no documentation. Please complain to package developers Todd Adams and Silvia Tentindo-Repond. |
ELE_* |
The package is tamburello. This branch has no documentation. Please complain to package developer Peter Tamburello. |
EVENT |
The package is event_info. |
GlobalTracker_* |
The package is ??. This branch has no documentation. Please complain to package developer . |
L1Cal |
The L1Cal rootuple contains energy
measurements for the Level 1 Calorimeter. GlblSum_* refers
to totals over the entire calorimeter. The Sort_Em* are
sorted by electromagnetic energy. The Sort_Tot* are sorted
by total energy. The numeral denotes the Tower number, where Tower
1 is the most energetic tower, followed by Tower 2, etc. The package
is l1cal_analyze. |
L1Cal_Debug |
This branch stores energy measurements of every
non-zero tower. The package is l1cal_analyze. |
L1FT_Level1_* |
This branch contains CFT track and CPS Axial variables corresponding to the
information sent to Level 3 at Level 1 time for both the DFE and OCT cards.
The transverse momenta are divided into four bins. For pT greater than 10
GeV, bin pt1 is used, momenta between 5 and 10 GeV goes into pt2, between
3 and 5 goes to pt3, and 1.5 and 3 uses pt4. Variables that begin with
df are defined for a particular sector, while variables that begin with oc
are for a particular octant. The package is l1ft_analyze. |
L1FT_Level2_* |
This branch contains the CFT track and CPS Axial DFE board information
sent to Level 3 at Level2 time. The transverse momenta are divided into
four bins. For pT greater than 10 GeV, bin pT1 is used, momenta between
5 and 10 GeV goes into pT2, between 3 and 5 goes to pT3, and 1.5 and 3
uses pT4. The package is l1ft_analyze. |
L1FT_bboardTT_* |
This branch contains the trigger terms made by CTTT.cpp
(see tsim_l1ft/src/CTTT.cpp). In the normal flow of events, CTTT makes
up to 96 trigger terms and sends them to the trigger manager, which can
choose up to 64 terms (as specified by COOR). The terms in the
L1FT_Trigterms_xxx branch are the terms which are chosen by the
trigger manager and sent to the trigger frameowrk. At the moment,
this block contains 65 trigger terms (the first one is the Pass/Mark
term). The number system is the same as specified in
tsim_l1ft/doc/Manual.txt. The package is l1ft_analyze.
|
L1Muon* |
The package is l1muo_analyze. Brief documentation. |
L1_5SLIC |
The package is d0trigsim_tests. This branch has no documentation. Please complain to package developer Josh Dyer. |
L1frm_Specific_Trigger |
This branch contains Level 1 specific triggers.
Each trigger is either 1 if it has fired or 0 if it has not.
There are a total of 128 triggers. The package is tsim_l1frm.
|
L2CPS |
The output of the level two central preshower
preprocessor. The package is tsim_l1frm. |
L2CTTCFT |
The output of level two fiber track preprocessor.
The package is l2cttcft_analyze. |
L2MU |
L2MU contains the output of the level two muon preprocessor. Muon candidates are formed from different stubs with matching eta's and phi's. The matching tolerance is generally different for L1 and (A, BC) stubs. Muon candidates can currently be one of the following matching combinations: L1, L1&A, L1&A&BC or A&BC. The package is tsim_l1frm. Please see the package documentation. |
L2STTCTT |
This package provides the output of the STTCTTWorker, containing
all of the output of BOTH the Level 2 CTT and the Level 2 STT. The
package is l2sttctt_analyze.
|
L2calem |
The level two calorimeter electromagnetic preprocessor.
The package is l2calem_analyze. |
L2caljet |
The level two calorimeter jet preprocessor.
The package is l2caljet_analyze. |
L2calmet |
The level two calorimeter missing transverse energy
preprocessor. The package is l2met_analyze. |
L2gblEM |
The output electron tool. Most of the information
in this branch is meaningless without the use of a macro. All of
the EMobjects from all passing scripts are lumped together. The
information in the L2gblHead branch is needed to decode it.
The package is l2gblem?. |
L2gblHead |
Level two trigger bit info.
The package is ??. |
L2gblJet |
The package is l2gbljet? |
L2gblMuon |
The output muon tool. The package is l2gblmuon?
|
L2gblTrack |
The output track tool. The package is l2gbltrack?. This branch has no documentation. Please complain to package author Adam Yurkewicz. |
L2gbl_fromL1 |
The package is l2gbl_analyze. Please see the package documentation. |
L3 Electron ID (L3E* and L3DebugE*) |
Please see the L3 algorithms documentation for electron ID here. |
L3 Jet ID (L3J* and L3DebugJ*) |
Please see the L3 algorithms documentation for jet ID here. |
L3 Muon ID |
Please see the L3 algorithms documentation for muon ID here. Daniela Bauer is working on an updated page (still undergoing construction) here. |
L3 Tau ID (L3Tau) |
Contains tau candidates found at level 3 by
L3TauHadronic. The Tau tool is based on cal clusters found with
L3TCalCluster and on tracks found by GlobalTracker. It can perform
either a cal based search, matching tracks to found cal clusters, or a
track based search, matching cal clusters to found track
clusters. This is done by setting ALGORITHM to CAL_BASED or
TRACK_BASED respectively in the trigger list. It also collects CPS and
EM3 information. The package is l3fTauTools.
