Dugan: Showed results of tests of p10.02 d0trigsim executable on reco
certification samples. See slides for details.
Volker: Showed plans for fast turn-around MC sample production by MC
farm + shifters on d0mino. Request has been submitted for 500k QCD
events in several PT bins. Expect first samples in SAM soon.
Adam: Adam showed results of L2gbl tests from p10 production
release. Strange behaviour from l2cps. He has volunteered to look at
the code himself and try to figure it out (original author has left
D0).
General: Mike Strauss initiated a discussion about how to combine reco
and trigsim and allow access to more detailed info not currently
available from analyze packages. Various options were discussed,
including creating "debug" packages in parallel with analyze packages
which would not run only on RDC output but would be
"spies". Alternatively you could create a persistent trig_debug chunk
and write it into the event for later analysis. Mike and Dugan agreed
to talk to Harry Melanson about the best way to do something like
this.
