The interface takes the form of ChannelAdaptors designed to serve hits belonging to the PDT, MDT and MSC subsystems. The ChannelAdaptors serve to convert the raw formats of the data into more conventional physics units.
The package also contains extract functions to create vectors of ChannelAdaptors pointing to the actual unpacked raw data. The extract functions work with each type of ChannelAdaptor. There two forms of extraction, one to extract the channels from a single module and another to extract all channels from the UnpDataChunk.
