ACNET VARIABLES

1. Variables

For each detector, we have 6 variables:

the HOME position
the LVDT position

For each rack, we have 1 variable :

smoke detector alarm

Also we have general variables :

All the detector at HOME position

All these variables are the status of the Epics variables.

2. Description Names

For the detector variables, the names are : C:FP'name of the castle''Position detector''Variables'.
For the rack variables, the names are :C:FP'name of the castle''Variables'.
For the general variables, the name are : C:FP'Variables'.

'name of the castle' : A1, A2, DI, P1 or P2.
'Position detector' : U, D, I or O
'Variables' : H (Home position), L (LVDT Position), SM (Smoke Alarm), ALLH (all detector at Home Position).

4. How to access ?

GO to : http://cns40.fnal.gov/javaconsole/autogen_javaconsole.html

A window is automatically popped up. At the left-top corner of this window, type : C72.

then 'ENTER'. The FPD HOME switches page must appear.

We have 3 pages :

HOME swithes (page #1)
Position LVDT (page #2)
Smoke Alarms (page #3)

If you want to go to an other page, you can :

click on "+" close to "-< 1>+" (1 means page #1)
replace 1 in "-< 1>+" by "-< 2>+" if you want to go to the page #2

Click on 'Disconnet' when you want to exit.
