It receives signals from LVDT and it sends +/-10V signals to the rack monitor. It's a commercial unit feeded by 110V mains and the consumption is 2.5VA each.
The maximum number per crate is four and they are protected by a 1A quick blow fuse.
Feeding cable has 3 AWG16 wires and fuse is accessible at the crate back. Signal conditioner are inside the closed and convection ventilated part of the 19" crate that holds the interface boards.
