Quick Reference Manual

1. How to start the LogBook:

> setup d0online

> start_daq logbook

2. How to log in:

· Select the first button at the left of the screen: “Log In/Log Out”

· Enter your username and password and click “Login”

· Select “DETECTOR Shift” in the top of the screen

· Select “FPD”

· Increase the window that pops up to the desired size

3. How to change password:

· Click the fourth button at the left of the screen and follow instructions

4. How to introduce an entry:

· Grab the “Text” box (first at the right of the screen) and drag-and-drop in the main window

· Delete the highlighted “Insert Text Here” and introduce your text

5. How to introduce an image:

· PostScript and PDF files: grab, drag, and drop the “Binary File” box to the main window. Type the file name or browse it and click “OK”. After insertion, it appears as a thumbnail in the entry.

· Online Images: Select “Insert Image” in the internal window and Place your cursor in the entry in which you want to insert an image. Choose your image source, either a URL or a file. Type in the entire URL or type the full path of the file and click “OK”.

6. How to save entries:

· Right click the mouse

· Select “Archive all non-archived entries in this topic”

7. How to see and search previous entries from your home:

· Go to http://www-d0online.fnal.gov/crl/d0search.jsp

· Select “FPD” and unselect “Include_all” in the “Select Keywords”

· Choose the period you want to search: number of shifts, hours, days, etc

· Hit “To_Present_Time”
