Manpower
We have 3-5 FTE working now and are making good progress but a great deal remains
to be done. We are far from the point of diminishing returns.
We will soon lose some of our best people.
This our most valuable resource.
CPU
Measuring and recording our rapid progress require the regular processing of
fairly large event samples. The resources are present but access is a bottleneck
(no access to farms, four jobs/user limit on d0mino:long).
Disk space
We need another disk for our data. Plans to make SAM reliable for production
or put some reco data on disk will eventually succeed but in the mantime, we have
been forced to discard some othe sample we would like to study.
Optimized releases
We are beginning to focus on optimizing our code and not just our algorithms.
Steady progress and monitoring of our progress will require that we regularly
make optimized releases.
