As you could see in the CTF meeting yesterday, the first look at the noise/zero suppression aspects was encouraging, but various properties of jets did not completely match between data and MC (which may be a different issue). We will try again with a higher pt QCD sample. For CTF09 productions we modified 4 params in p11.13.00/pileup/rcp/MergeMinBias.rcp New values: Electromagnetic_cut=1.37 (ie 1./1.54*2.1) Hadronic_cut= 1.29 (ie 1./1.77*2.3) rms_scale_factor=1.0 zs_scale_factor=1.0 As far as I know, the modification was achieved by mc_runjob settings (new entries in the 09 ctf.sra.script file for d0sim at UTA, if such script file has a meaning to you): cfg d0sim define float PileupEMCut 1.37 cfg d0sim define float PileupHadrCut 1.29 cfg d0sim define float RMSScaleFactor 1.0 cfg d0sim define float ZSScaleFactor 1.0 I am cc'ing Mark so that he can holler if I've spcified this incorrectly... I also asked Mark to generate the ttbar->e4j sample that you wanted -- hopefully we can look at it before the top group requests the official farm production (not to mention the CTF internal interest).
