French Calibration Pulser Supply
Trouble Shooting
David L. Huffman
These supplies are relatively simple and basic trouble-shooting strategies
should be used.
Here are some hints of things that can cause problems.
- The supplies use remote sensing at the output connector. If the feedback wiring
opens then supply will overvoltage and crowbar. The result will be no output voltage
and a supply that appears to be broken. Always check that the feedback wiring has continuity
back to the supply remote sensing terminals.
- If there is no output voltage check the fuse for that circuit.
- The control power is active as soon as the line cord is plugged in. If the front panel switch
is not turn on the supply will indicate an under-voltage trip.
