note: empty cells or cells marked 'reserved' will contain zeros

BOR = beginning of record, "111"

HP = Horizontal Parity bit

PM = Pass-and-Mark, not supported, "00"

Octant = The octant number, range 0-7

#OBJ VP = Vertical Parity bits for the #OBJ field

#OBJ = The number of Cluster Objects contained in this record, range 0-24

#OBJ HP = Horizontal Parity bits for the #OBJ field

Data Type = L2CPS, "11000"

Rec Type = L2 record, "000"

Turn = The accelerator turn (revolution) number

Tick = The accelerator bunch crossing number

Cluster Object = Found clusters are listed and sorted by phi in ascending order.
Each track object is 24 bits, defined as:

• bit 23: zero
• bits [22:19]: The relative address of the CPS cluster center, range 0-15
• bits [18:16]: Cluster width in CPS strips, range 0-7 (7 = 7 or wider)
• bit 15: T. Set to indicate that this cluster is associated with a CFT track
• bit 14: L. Zero, loose CPS association not supported
• bit 13: C. Track curvature
• bits [12:11]: PT. Track PT bin ("00" = Max, "01" = High, "10" = Medium, "11" = Low)
• bits [10:8]: PT EXT. Extended PT information
• bit 7: R. Set to indicate that the cluster matched to track which originated outside home sector
• bits [6:3]: The relative position of the trigger sector in the octant, range 0-9
• bit 2: zero
• bit 1: M. Set to indicate more than one track matched to this cluster
• bit 0: ISO. Set to indicate that an isolated track matched to this cluster
