The equipment labeling is shown in the diagrams below.
The scheme behind the labels is that a conditioner is
labeled by it's side (North or South), it's 'phi-count'
and whether it is radially the inner or the outer conditioner
on a given phi position.
The conditioner on the North side, at the first phi position,
will thereby be conditioner N1I. There is no outer conditioner
at this location. There is an outer conditioner on the third
phi-location, this one is labeled N3O.
The Hall heads attached to the conditioners are then
given their conditioner label plus an A, B, or a C.
The heads attached to the first conditioner mentioned are thus
called N1IA, N1IB and N1IC.
The counting of phi start at three o'clock on the south side
and goes counterclockwise.
Next to each of the two CAN nodes is shown its serial number (S/N). The serial number shows on a label on the box. Also shown is the CAN node's ID. This is the number that identifies the node in the read-out program. Next to each of the sixteen conditioners is shown its #, which is the number shown on the label on the conditioner housing. The calibration data refers to these numbers. Also shown is the port of the CAN node it is connected to. This is the number by which the conditioner is identified in the read-out program.
