Jet-ID Documentation
Relevant JetID Documentation
- p20 JetID Efficiencies are documented in D0 note 5634 (April 22nd 2008).
- Accidentally, in p20, maximum number merges has been limited to 1 as e.g. in following rcp's: (Zdenek Hubacek, private communication)
Data: /d0dist/dist/releases/p20.12.02/calreco/rcp/CalPreSCILCone05.rcp
MC: /d0dist/dist/releases/p20.12.02/d0_mcpp_gen/rcp/ILCone05.rcp
Other relevant rcp's:

The p17 jet ID is
described in D0Note
#4919.
-
The improved L1 confirmation algorithms are described in
D0Note #4932.
-
Important: A detailed description of the D0 RunII Jet algorithms, and how to use them
to
(re)reconstruct calorimeter, track and particle jets is in D0Note
#4457.
-
Instructions to reconstruct
cone and/or kT PXCONE particle
jets in CAFe from standard CAF trees are in
https://plone4.fnal.gov/P1/D0Wiki/Members/aharel/MakingParticleJetsInCAFe (instructions by Amnon Harel)
- Particle jets in CAFe using the SIScone algorithm (instructions by Gavin Hesketh).
-
The choice of the D0 RunII Jet
algorithms has been based on the results obtained by the
RunII
Jet Physics working group and summarized in the RunII Jet Physics paper
of 2000.
-
The p14 pass I
efficiency
measurements are described briefly in D0Note
#4667 .
-
The p14 pass II efficiency
measurements are only available in draft
forms:
- Without tracking requirements using Z-tags (also for pass I), and
using jet smearing (by James Heinmiller) is in
/work/paulina-clued0/james/higgs/d0note_jet_reco/jet_reco.ps
- Using jet smearing and biasing to get MC and data agreement in
gamma + jet (Makovec & Grivaz delta-S method). Draft not
available.
- With tracking requirements using gamma-tags, and using scale
factors for top_analyze (Nils Gollub). Draft not
available. Some of the lessons from this study are summarized in a
draft D0 Note which can be found
