DØ Diboson Subgroup

The self-interaction of the gauge bosons (the W, the Z, and the photon) is a consequence of the non-Abelian gauge symmetry of the Standard Model. The gauge boson self-interactions appear as vertices involving three gauge bosons, and result in the production of pairs of bosons. The study of diboson production thus directly tests the predicted Standard Model couplings. Observations of anomalous couplings would be an indication of new physics. DØ sets limits on anomalous couplings using W-gamma, Z-gamma, WW and WZ final states.

DØ Results / Plots

The following is a table of our results in each of the diboson production channels.
Shown in the second column are the trilinear couplings measured in ecah channel.

Our most recent results are the WZ -> e nu ll search, the study of WW/WZ -> mu nu jj and new combined limits on the anomalous couplings (see the relevant web page in the table below).
