1. Log yourself into th e-log, following the "DØ e-log for Dummies", on d0ol07, the DAQ console.
2. Make a log entry for the beginning of your shift.
3. Talk to the previous shifters or experts for information transfer, the detector status, and shift tasks, etc.
4. Continue carrying the shift task list.   The shift task list can be found in the e-log, in your e-mail, in the shift binder, and on the DAQ console.
5. At the end of the shift, write up a shift summary into the e-log and send it as e-mail to d0shifters@fnal.gov list server.
6. Debrief the next shifters or experts, concerning your shift.
7. Log the end of your shift in the e-log and log yourself out of the e-log.
