This section will contain generic shift tasks as well as specific daily run plans.
One
of the most important tasks of the shifters is to keep a very good record
of what happened during the shift on the DØ electronic logbook.
This would allow the experts to pursue and fix the problems during the
day.
Normal
run plan will consist of taking calibration runs for Calorimeter, Silicon
Micro Strip Detector, and, if necessary, Muon. When this task
is complete, the system must be turned into integrated run mode and take
cosmic ray data, running Examine programs for individual detectors and
a Global.
