Note: The Run Plan has been split into the Current Daily plan and a separate page with the Standard Instructions. Please read both carefully and report any discrepancies.

This run plan covers:
The Captain's binder and instructions have been worked on by many people and has improved....but there is always room for improvement. While on shift with no beam or during quiet periods, Captains can assist in updating the documentation in the Captain binder. Please try and clean out obsolete instructions and update or create new instructions if they do not exist. If there are questions about some of the material, please send mail to Leslie.
Store 632 is colliding (08/11 22:50) with initial luminosity 2.6E30. Plan is to keep it (barring lightning and raccoons!) through Sunday at least.
L3 VRC3c tests might still be ongoing and CAL crates might need to be taken out of the global run for these tests. If the tests are complete, the CAL crates should be included in the global runs.
Calorimeter will take some triple sample data (10k events) in a separate run, if the hardware L3 VRC is stable enough.
There are no requests for access at the moment.
Check the Standing Instructions for updated instructions on running the magnets.
The default version of the event display is start_daq d0ve and not start_daq d0ve_web.
The default trigger configuration file for collisions is still global_L1CalMuon-1.2.xml. This trigger file emphasizes muon triggers and some high Et jet and EM triggers. The rates should be kept in the range as indicated in the prescale file global_L1CalMuon-1.2-4e30_6Hz.prescales but can probably be tuned to achieve 10-15Hz. The prescale files is tuned expecting about 4E30 so will need to be tuned to achieve the desired rate. There is a lower luminosity trigger file also available (1E30).
DAQ Shifters should set prescales to maintain the desired data rates as specified in the trigger files. Captains should check to make sure the rates make sense and are within the desired ranges. Contact the Trigger Meisters or the Commissioning Coordinators if there are problems.
