Muon Surveys - From Richard Smith, Al Ito, July 27, 2001

There are (only!) three muon survey jobs remaining on our job list:

the CF Bottom PDT's
the EF top C layer PDT's
the N&S A layer pixels.

Each of these jobs requires 2 or more days, and all are supervised access, not controlled access.

Forward Proton Detector

Access required to the Collision Hall for two people for about 20 minutes. Call if between 7am-midnight.

Forward Muon Detector - Basar Sabirov July 27, 2001

Repair short circuit in North C MDT octant 7. Contact person is Basar Sabirov (office x2889, home x3438, cell 630-399-2367).

Level 1 Muon System - Ken Johns, July 27, 2001

Update MTCM FPGAs - 2 hrs
Repair bad SFE-L1MU cable - 2 hrs
Check rack cooling - 30 min

Ken Johns is not around July 18-20 but Jeff will be.

Calorimeter - from Ursula Bassler July 30, 2001

Two BLS Power supplies will not turn on due to undervolting.
- Crate 10 bottom (ECN-SE)
- Crate 2 bottom (CC-NW) Will need to pull the supplies and replace with spares. Need about 30-45 mins with 3 people per supply, during the day (prior to 2:30pm).
Short access needed (20 min) to reset Calorimeter Pulser LVPS in ECS-SE (06).
