  • FNALD0 and D0IT (VMS) two accounts.
    • FNALD0, the big VAX cluster mostly at D0.
    • D0IT, old VAX machines at D0, usable as "x-terminals" only
  • D0AXP (VMS), Alpha VMS cluster, mostly at D0.
  Preferred VAX USERNAME
  Any special requirements (disk space etc.) on VAX:

• UNIX
  • D0SGI/D0DEC and D0CH (UNIX) two accounts.
    • D0SGI and D0DEC are the SGI and DEC Alpha Unix workstations at D0.
      Note: Needed to gain access to D0's "protected" web pages.
    • D0CH are the two large Challenge machines at FCC.
  Preferred UNIX USERNAME
  (If possible this should be the same as your VAX username and the same on all UNIX platforms. Please note that UNIX usernames are limited to 8 characters. If your VAX username is longer than 8 characters then you will have to choose a different name.)

Before submitting your request, make sure that you've entered all the data. In particular check that your name, institution and Fermilab ID number is entered correctly, that you've entered either an existing account name or someone who can vouch for you and that you've checked the Proper Use box.
