Hints on getting started on analysis for new D0 members
Making an Ntuple with commonly used information
In order to make it easier for new members to D0
to do Run I analyses, we have here an example of
how to make an Ntuple off the Run I data.
This Ntuple maker was created by the WZ group.
The instructions on how to use the Ntuple
maker to make ntuples are
here.
Documentation on the contents
of the ntuple in postscript format is
found
here.
If you only want to access data taken on specific triggers,
you'll probably want to use D0dad.
Documentation on D0dad can be found
here.
An undocumented feature of D0dad can be found
here.

Making Monte Carlo Samples
You'll want to do this in two steps. First, make an ISAJET
sample, then process it through showerlib, musmear, trigsim,
cal_overlap, etc.
For instructions on ISAJET, click
here.
For instructions on SHOWERLIB, click
here.
