The data samples used in these analyses are divided into two categories: (a) those for which the generation time is similar to the analysis time as is typcial for signal generation and (b) those for which the generation time is long, such as QCD or Geant samples. Samples of the first type should not be kept on disk. RCP files for the samples listed below are available in
Samples of the second type will be kept on disk. These are cataloged below.

RCP files for generating fast samples

RCP files for a variety of backgrounds can be found in

/prj_root/733/higgs2_1/pythia/RCP_FILES

The names are of the form pythia_XX_YY.rcp in which XX is the production mode (eg WW for diboson production) and YY is the decay mode (eg, lvjj for W1->lnu, W2->qqbar).

Data samples available as STDHEP files

This is a list of samples passed through slow MC programs such as Geant or long-generation-time samples from (e.g.) Pythia. Common parameter defintions for generating such sample are provided with the instructions for running the specific generator.

Geant WH -> MuNu bb

TMP$ROOT330:[HIGGS.GEANT]UPG_WH0ALL090_PY570_*.GEN and TMP$ROOT330:[HIGGS.GEANT]]WH90_98_1.GEN. With descriptions one and two.

Part 2 I have regenerated the WH (with radiation) GEANT files. The thousand events are now in the new area on the alpha:
tmp$root330:[higgs.geant]*new.genx

These were generated with the same PYTHIA (using John H.'s PYTEFL routine) as the no-radiation file. They replace the original *.genx files. I'm going to continue to generate a second thousand events, since some of the plots still look a bit ratty statistically (remember the "thumb"?)

Pythia QCD four-jets (Produced by John Hobbs)

I have begun generating QCD four jet events using Pythia process MSEL=1. There are about 5k events currently finished, and they are in the files

/prj_root/733/higgs2_1/analyses/hobbs/data/qcd_jjjj.stdhep.*

The current pythia selection requirement is .ge.4 0.5 cone pjets with PT>10 GeV and |eta|<2.5.

Pythia Rcp files for the three SUGRA points (Produced by Sarah Eno)

The three rcp files correspond to the three mSUGRA points used as a starting point for SUGRA searches for Run II. The values in the file name are A0, m0, m1/2, tan(beta), and sgn(mu).
