These black and white plots may be used in publications. They should reduce nicely. Below each figure is a suitable caption. Note that the excluded region is shaded in a pleasant light grey, but it doesn't show up on the gifs. Futhermore, the dashed lines don't look dashed in ghostview, but they'll print fine.
