Title: New Phenomena Prospects in Run 2 at the Tevatron Link to paper if available: Session of First Preference: Beyond the Standard Model Session of Second Preference: LP Session: Not to be submitted. Abstract: The prospects for discovering physics beyond the Standard Model in Run 2 with the upgraded D0 detector and increased Tevatron luminosity are very good. Better identification of heavy flavor particles (tau, b, c) combined with jets, missing transverse energy, and muon, electron and photon identification provide various signatures for new physics. The predictions of different SUSY models such as mSUGRA, MSSM and R-parity violating SUSY will be probed. Searches will be made for technicolor particles, leptoquarks, heavy gauge boson, massive stable particles and other exotics. Tests will be made for the effects of large extra dimensions. Model independent searches will also be made. Submitted: 9 April 2001
