Does a paper need to be Written?
If an abstract for a Run I physics analysis has been
submitted to either EPS or LP 2001 then a paper has to be
prepared. The exceptions are as follows:
- If the analysis has already been submitted to a journal
then a paper does not need to be prepared. In this case the
reference has to be forwarded to Iain Bertram.
Preparation of a Paper?
The papers submitted to EPS and LP should resemble a
submission to Physical Review Letters. There is no required format
for these papers. DØ requires you to fulfill the following
requirements.
-
If a paper on the analysis will be submitted to a journal
before June 15 2001 you just need to forward me the hep-ex
preprint number. In this case nothing else needs to be done.
-
The paper should be submitted using the following template:
-
The completed paper should be reviewed by the analysis
editorial board and the Run I physics convenor responsible
for the analysis before submission of the paper. For this
reason the paper needs to be completed by the middle of May.
Draft Submission to EB by 15 May 2001
-
The final approved paper needs to be completed by 1 June
2001.
-
After final approval the author list of the paper needs to
be updated. The author list to be used will be posted
here on 1 June 2001.
-
Once the paper has been finalized it should be submitted to
the Los Alamos preprint server. The submission needs to be
completed by 7 June 2001 and details of the
submission submitted to Iain Bertram.
An postscript file of
template is also available.
