    External Interfaces

The raw data and any subsequent data generated from the raw data become part of the event. This uses the Event Data Model for access.

Calibration and alignment data are provided to the event through a database.

    Muon Hit Reconstruction

The D0 muon hit reconstruction is a three step process that converts raw data from the detector to valid hits for finding tracks. The first step sorts the raw data and identifies the sections of the detector that have data for an event. The second step converts the raw data into calibrated data in specific cells of the detector. The third step groups the cells into segments and creates the hits for track reconstruction.
