Muon algorithm group has successfully implemented the d0 persistent mechanism in the existing code. There are four chunks: unpacked data chunk (MuoUnpChunk), processed hit chunk (MuoHitChunk), segment chunk (MuoSegmentChunk) and track chunk (MuoTrackChunk). These classes are implemented only for the forward muon chambers. But most of the code segments are reused to implement the central chamber classes and the part for the central chambers should be ready quickly. Andrei Mayorov joined the muon algorithm effort in March and he will concentrate on the famus code. Progress is being made on Muon Base Geometry code. Implementation of geometry classes for drift tubes are done. Work is underway on Scinitillator geometry. We had a review of our code on 4/30 and the review panel accepted our basic class design. The next review will focus on the geometry implementation in mureco and will be held at the end of May. - Pushpa + Taka
