Below you will find some information on the format of this meeting and first information on the proceedings, the "yellow book" to summarize our work. 1) Time has come to start collecting results for the November meeting. We encourage the working groups to hold working group meetings within the next few weeks to prepare for the final General Meeting. 2) Purpose of the final General Meeting is to present results. The general format of the meeting are two introductory plenary session talks, followed by parallel sessions where the working groups meet. We have alloted 3 hours for working group meetings during the workshop for each group in order to allow ample time for detailed presentations of individual results. The agenda of your working group meeting should be posted on the home page of your group. Should you need more than three hours meeting time please let us know. Additional meeting time can be arranged, at the expense of having more than two working groups meet in parallel. A (very preliminary) schedule for the November meeting is appended. 3) On Saturday, November 6, the working groups will present their results in a plenary meeting. We have allocated 45 min of presentations for each working group. Please determine which of the convenors will represent the working group (one or more speakers are possible). These plans should be finalized by 10/01/99. 4) The results of the workshop will be published in the form of a Fermilab report. Each working group is expected to contribute one chapter (of order 40 to 80 pages) to this report which should be written such as to be maximally helpful to the young and not-so-young experimentalist doing the Run II analyses. Latex style files and detailed guidelines for the length of each chapter will be made available within the next few weeks at the workshop home page http://www-theory.fnal.gov/people/ellis/QCDWB/QCDWB.html In order to have the report available at the beginning of Run II, we need all related material by 02/01/00. Thanks again for your willingness to help, and we are looking forward to an exciting meeting in November. Best regards, Ulrich Baur Keith Ellis Dieter Zeppenfeld
