Subject: Sara got some sleep!!!!!!

Tuesday, 1/27
Dear Friends and Family,
Finally today Sara did something that she's needed to do since Dec.  She slept
all last night AND today!!!!  She awoke at 3:00 p.m., got some GOOD food and
returned to the hospital refreshed!  Diane made this possible by staying with
Brian last night and staying with him all day.  Brian made THIS possible by
sleeping last night.  Diane kept him up all day, so he should sleep for Sara
tonight.

Brian had a good day.  He sat in a chair for a long time today.  Jim (Diane's
husband) came to help about 11:00 a.m.  The 2 of them entertained him all day.
It has been a noisy day on the floor, because they are moving a lot of
equipment and supplies to the new floor.  They will definitely be moving the
patients tomorrow.

We are still waiting for Brian's blood counts to start going up.  He is still
in isolation.  Once his counts go up, he may be able to go home for a few
days.  He did not have a fever today.

Our prayers are being answered!  We can thank God that Sara got sleep and so
did Brian and Diane.  Pray that they get to sleep again tonight.  Pray that
Brian gets to go home before his chemo starts again next week.

Yesterday Brian told Sara that he wants to see Jesus' face.  She asked him
what Jesus looks like and he said he didn't know.  But he said, "I know that
God has a white beard like Santa Claus."
