Subject: Back in the hospital

Sat., May 23rd

Dear Friends and Family,

Brian's fever went up this afternoon and the family is on the way to the
hospital.  Sara called me from their car phone.  They will get their "old"
room--759!  It is their favorite one.  Happy House is trying to arrange a spot
for 2 of them to sleep tonight.  They have room for them the next 2 nights.

Brian's fever is high and his ears hurt.  He may have an ear infection.  They
are stuck in traffic and he is not feeling well.

Denny and I will go see them tomorrow and take Brian some new Barney
videos--donated by a friend---and another quilt block.  If he does not get
very sick, he enjoys videos and playing games.  Returning to the hospital is
not as upsetting for him as it use to be, because now he realizes that he will
be returning home soon.

Brian has 2 chemo maintenance treatments remaining to do.  His next treatment
is scheduled for June 9th.

Pray that his mucousitis does not get too bad and that he does not become too
uncomfortable.  Pray that they are all able to get sleep at night.  (Sara will
need to hunt down her favorite sleeping chair!  They usually move it to a
different floor, because it doesn't match the new decor!  She finds it and
moves it back.)
