W Mass Measurement

We're done! Based on our Run 1A and Run 1B data we measure

M(W) = 80.43 +- 0.11 GeV

This result is published in Phys. Rev. Letters 80, 3008 (1998) (hep-ex/9712028) and in Physical Review D58, 092003 (1998) (hep-ex/9712028). A summary and further references and the history of the editorial board review are available.

The current (preliminary) world average for the W mass is:

M(W) = 80.425 +- 0.075 GeV [DØ, CDF, UA2, LEP2 - Feb98]
