Unlocking the Mysteries of the Universe

Don in front of DZero

Research

I am co-convener of the DZero experiment’s QCD group.  We study the scattering of the quarks and gluons within protons and antiprotons.  We always have several ongoing analyses, performed by graduate students and postdocs.  Some of our recent results are available.

In addition, I am a member of the CMS collaboration.  My research interest there is predominantly involved with the idea of quark and lepton compositeness, the idea that quarks and leptons contain within themselves even smaller particles not yet discovered.
