Understanding the Universe by Don Lincoln
My new book Understanding the Universe: From Quarks to the Cosmos is being released in Summer 2004. It is a book written by an experimental particle physicist for science enthusiasts. It assumes you know little or nothing about particle physics, but does assume that you are interested in science. It is the January 2005 Featured Selection for the Scientific American Book Club.
- You gotta be kidding me. Somehow I never envisioned my book being reviewed on a web site with over-muscled naked and semi-naked men....
- Deeply irritating proof that people will quote you out of context to support their inane beliefs. Mr. Tilton asked for permission to include text from me in his book on how to break the light barrier. I declined, as it was clear he was going to misrepresent my position. Yet here it is. Sigh.....
- Reviews with some commentary from the author.
